I was born in Mount Lebanon, and I’ve been living in the burgh all my life.
Some of my favorite things to do are obviously talk, watch, discuss or have anything to do with the Steelers and pittsburgh sports in general. I love my city and we love our sports, anyone who knows us knows that we bleed black and Gold. (interesting fact- Pittsburgh is the only sports city where all major sports teams wear the same colors- BLACK AND GOLD BABY! and by the way, thats the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. I’m not sure who designed it that way, but that’s pretty cool, huh?) Anyway…
I love all pittsburgh food, halusky, sausage, cabbage rolls, paninis, and especially subs at the TriAngle Grill. Speaking of the TriAngle grill, I was there one time ordering a Submarie hogie and the owner cusses out a patron that was giving him a hard time, like it was no big deal. Typical day in the Burgh I guess.
I went to the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a degree in biology and computer science (I was there 6 years, weird combination, I know). Now I work for the Pittsburgh City Schools, and I love what I do. I especially love that I get off 3 months in summer, 2 weeks in winter, and all snow days!
My family has been vacationing in Bethany Beach, Delaware for the past 20 years. It’s a great little place on the beach, and we always meet more fellow Pittsburghers there.
Anyway, that’s a little about me. I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences with you about all the good things to do around town, and sharing the gem that is Pittsburgh!
